A Perfect Chelsea Townhouse
A Perfect Life
The Ellis family have it all: wealth, charm and a beautiful five-storey townhouse in London's coveted Ovington Square. They even have a live-in housekeeper, Lana, to keep everything running smoothly.
A sudden change
But Mr Ellis has just lost his job as a high flying banker – and that means Lana will lose hers too. Worse still, she'll have to leave the family home she's grown to love. She's worked so hard to get here. She can't bear to have it all come tumbling down.
A chance to start afresh
Lana's only chance is to convince Mr Ellis to hire her as he launches a daring new startup from scratch. She has no experience, no qualifications, and no patience for him. But if she doesn’t learn fast, they could both lose everything.
Can Lana seize her second chance, or will the life she’s built slip through her fingers?

Debbie's introduction
I wrote “A Perfect Chelsea Townhouse” because, frankly, after “A Perfect Algarve Villa” I couldn’t get Mark and the Ellis family out of my head.! And I wasn’t alone—readers and friends were intrigued to know why he didn’t stay and fight for his career in London. Well, wonder no more!
This book lets us peek into life from the perspective of Svetlana, the Ellis family’s feisty housekeeper, who’se quick wit, no-nonsense attitude and sharp tongue may give her a bristly edge, but it’s her quick wit and hidden softness that makes her so relatable.
When Mark’s career goes up in smoke, Lana’s life is thrown into chaos, too. With her job—and home—on the line, she manages to talk her way into Mark’s new business venture. Suddenly, she’s hurled into the cutthroat world of high finance, where she’s swapping frying pans for finance reports.
Can she really make it in this new, daunting environment? Or has she bitten off far more than she can chew?
A Perfect Chelsea Townhouse is a page turning family drama starring a grumpy housekeeper heroine on a career-crash-comeback. Expect workplace-proximity, reluctant partnership, fish out of water, midlife reinvention, found-family loyalty, slow-burn trust, and an iconic Chelsea townhouse at its heart – uplifting second chance with a satisfying happy-for-now | Not a romance.
